ABOUT IONISATION:
Negative ions released into indoor air cause light, positively charged airborne particles to attach to them, forming larger, heavier particles that settle quickly out of the breathing zone.

Negative ionisation also breaks down volatile organic compounds in the air that are harmful when inhaled. Toxic compounds produced by microbes and mixed into the indoor air as aerosols — microbial toxins — can cause severe health damage if they reach the lungs and bloodstream. Microbial toxins not aerosolised cause harm mainly via spores, which are the producers of these dangerous toxins.

The effectiveness of ozone (O3) and negative ionisation depends on high concentrations.

When the unit produces negative ions in addition to ozone, the effect compared with ozone alone is 5–10 times better and high concentrations remove spores and odours effectively even from porous materials, such as upholstery and bedding.

Fine particles in indoor air present a serious health risk in homes and workplaces.

Harmful fine particles can be inhaled into the lower lungs (alveoli) and enter the bloodstream, causing serious health problems in addition to asthma and allergies.

    Ozonation and negative ionisation work particularly effectively in an over-pressurised building.

    Ozone and negative ionisation together form compounds that can effectively remove microbial spores and a range of odours, for example sewage gases, smoke, bacterial and mould toxin odours, and persistent cooking and smoking smells.

    Ozone and negative ion treatment also remove fine particles and MVOCs and VOCs.

    Ozonation and negative ionisation produce a pleasant, easy-to-breathe indoor air in which it is good for people to be.

    Ozone and negative ionisation together produce very clean indoor air for workplaces as well.

Ozonation of indoor air cannot be carried out while people are present because ozone is produced in high quantities to destroy microbial spores. The combined effect of high ozone concentration and negative ionisation achieves good cleaning results even in porous materials. After indoor air cleaning, the treated space is ventilated and occupants may return.
