Fully restored rider's rocket!

Custom-built Hornet to my taste; most changes are cosmetic and visible in the photos.

Work done last year before winter storage:

Front fork serviced, slightly stiffer oils and new fork seals; front wheel bearings replaced.

Engine inspected, timing head checked, valve clearances checked and compression measured (just over 12 bar in each).

Digital instruments replaced + fuel level sensor added to the tank; tank cleaned and fuel filter replaced. At the same time the ECU was moved under the seat and the whole bike wiring harness was laid out for modification/inspection and re-wrapped. (Now ready for adding a gear indicator to the dash).

Throttle bodies and injectors fully cleaned off the bike; throttle bodies synced and fuel delivery calibrated + new air filter.

Spark plugs and ignition leads replaced.

Coolant and brake fluids changed.

Brakes fully serviced; discs and pads have plenty of life left.

Seat reupholstered.

Engine oil and filter changed every riding season.

Chains and sprockets cleaned, lubricated and adjusted regularly; in good condition.

Fitted with fatbar risers and a stainless steel pipe.

The original handlebars, instruments, headlight and exhausts are not fitted.

A box of other original parts is included + a pile of spare parts such as ignition items, sensors, etc., which can be hard to source these days.
