The Timco MMA200PTMIG is an easy-to-use IGBT plasma cutter, MIG, TIG and stick welder ideally suited for hobby use. For professional use we recommend a separate MIG unit such as the iT315MIG, TIG250WSME for heavy TIG work or aluminium, and the Pi160CUT for plasma cutting.

The MMA200PTMIG is very compact, extremely light and still powerful. The unit is easy to carry and move as work progresses.

• Hot start – this function automatically increases start-up welding current so the electrode does not stick and the weld is good from the start. After ignition the unit returns automatically to the previously set voltage.

• Anti stick – prevents the electrode overheating and sticking to the workpiece by automatically switching off the welding current.

• Arc Force – adjusts the arc to suit the material and weld, improving weld strength and quality.
