Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, 2013, Hattula

Due to a change in circumstances, the extra-long Mercedes Sprinter registered as a 4-person motorhome — finished internally except for panel lining — is for sale.
This is comfortable to travel the world in thanks to cruise control and a 6-speed manual gearbox. On a summer trip to Norway fully loaded the average consumption was a modest 10.67 litres/100 km.

Extensive insulation:
- Walls: 19 mm Armaflex and 50 mm ewonavilla; in some areas a second layer of Armaflex over the wool.

- Roof: 19 mm Armaflex and 20 mm Recticel Eurothane EWall insulation. Area above the cab has only 19 mm Armaflex.
- Floor: 30 mm Recticel Eurothane EWall insulation.

- Rear seat: two-seat original Mercedes additional seat with ISOFIX anchors.

- Table that slides sideways, extends lengthways and is removable.

- Swivel trays on the front seats.
- “Electrical centre” in the right rear corner with 12 V and 230 V cabling running through the vehicle.
- 200 Ah LiFePO4 battery.

- Victron MultiPlus 12 V 3000 W 120 A with Bluetooth module installed. Controllable with Victron’s mobile app.
- Victron MPPT SmartSolar 100/50 A.

- Biltema 12 V easy-to-place 6-button touch panel and relay box in the left rear corner. Wiring to the panel runs along both sides towards the front.
- DC-DC charger SRNE MD1250N05 50 A which also has an integrated MPPT charge controller (this charger is currently detached — replaced under warranty).

- SRNE Smart Shunt (appears to be faulty as it does not show consumption). Wiring is prepared.
- MAXXFAN Deluxe clear roof fan (outer cover has black tape).
- Compressor fridge Frezzer Pro black 65 l 12/24 V.

- Vevor 8 kW air heater with Bluetooth installed in the left rear corner of the load area. Included (not installed) is a Truman 5 L water heater heated by passing air and a 230 V element.
- Dimmable bright LED strip on the ceiling with a wireless switch. The LED strip continues behind the roof fan.

- Bed approx. 175 cm x 190 cm; upper bed approx. 70 cm x 160 cm. Bed frames built with IKEA SKORVA extendable beams and their wall brackets.
- Thermal cover for the cab windows (visible in one photo). Also internal thermal covers for rain protection for the cab windows.

On the roof:
- 510 W solar panel.
- At the rear: brake/parking/indicator/reverse light (not all functions connected) and 2 x Purelux Road Black MF160 12 W wide work lights.

- Right side: “yard lights” — 2 x Purelux Scene 19 W wide work lights.

- On the roof rack, facing backwards: 3 x Purelux Terrain Black Square Flood 20 W wide work lights.

- Additional lights on the roof rack: Regem 43YC and X-vision Genesis II 1100 spot LED light panel.
- The roof rack also has a few parking lights to the sides and rear; these can be switched off with a button.

- Reversing camera system with two cameras — one views the towbar, the other is adjustable to show further behind.

- Also included: a homemade towbar relocation kit to allow the rear doors to open when a bike rack is mounted on the towbar.

- Removable two-jerrycan bracket on the rear door ladder.

- Sliding door glass is double-glazed thermal glass.

- Window at the table area is sliding and opens by sliding.

The exterior was repainted in autumn 2024; the previous white stood out too much in lay-bys — now it blends nicely with the surroundings.

Inner sides of the doors are rust-free.

- Oil pressure relief valve removed.

- At about 206,000 km: DPF cleaned (was not full), fuel filter changed, alternator freewheel pulley and tensioner replaced.

Faults:

- Temporary interior plywood panels.

- Central locking on the sliding door does not work.

- Doors are not yet insulated (insulation included).

- Aftermarket antenna on the front edge of the roof is not connected — suitable adapter for the antenna cables not found.

For winter: like-new Continental studless winter tyres on steel wheels.
For summer: tyres in good condition on alloy wheels.
