Well-kept for its age, a rarer Audi A4 B7 3.2 FSI Quattro for winter snow and summer twisty tarmac.

S-Line trim — sportier front grille and a small boot-lip spoiler compared to the standard model.

Sports seats.

Has served as a hobby and daily driver.

Not been meddled with; original parts used except for the shock absorbers.

Engine replaced under factory warranty at around 70,000 km. This is recorded in the service book and Audi’s database. The current engine has therefore covered a little over 200,000 km. Timing chain was also replaced during the engine swap.

The timing chain — the most expensive item to replace on these — does not rattle and should last roughly 300,000 km.

Spark plugs changed about 10,000 km ago (NGK original quality).

The summer wheels are different from those in the pictures.

Defects and other observations

During four years of ownership there have been some electrical faults, but these have been repaired as discovered — e.g. original oxidised relays replaced.

Minor bubbling/spot corrosion on the front arches; treated with rust converter to prevent spreading.

The starter may need replacing in the near future. A replacement starter is included and ready to fit.

A couple of small dents on the plastic rear bumper with cracked paint.

The remote for one of the two keys does not work; one new key included.
