On a short test drive we observed the following:


  • Exhaust is clearly rattling.

  • Air conditioning failed in the autumn – at this time of year the windows tend to fog up.

  • Door locks do not work; unknown whether this is due to the keys or the central locking.

  • Last year's service included notes about possible repairs; unknown whether these were carried out.

  • Tires are no longer in their best condition; they do meet the legal minimum. Studs are well retained and tread remains.

  • Started well from cold start, though temperatures were modest.
