Defects and other observations

Before listing the car for sale we carried out a test drive and condition assessment and made the following observations:

  • The car leaks oil between the engine and the gearbox

  • The engine makes a secondary/auxiliary noise

  • Engine warning light and traction‑control light are on

  • Drive shaft needs replacement. A new drive shaft comes with the car

  • Probably a noisy rear wheel bearing on the driver’s side

  • These faults have not been investigated further by Kamux!

  • The car was used at the inspection where the fault list was obtained. See picture 26 in the advert.

  • The car was driven for about 20 km during which the drive shaft and wheel bearing noises were noticed. Engine power and torque are intact and the brakes work fine. A good working vehicle for a forester with minor repairs.
