For sale: a solid but pitted MB that needs a bit of work for the MOT. Front brakes, handbrake cable and likely other items. I don’t think the car needs welding. There is plenty of underbody filler. If you want to view it, the car can be lifted on request. The car has, to my knowledge, been stationary since 1997 and was deregistered in 2000. The original plates were available when I asked in the summer. I emptied the tank and cleaned the filter. The fuel pump and carburettor should be cleaned and then it would start. It will run if you put petrol directly into the carburettor. The keys are unclear so the ignition lock should be taken to a locksmith. I renewed the tyres and intended to restore it for a museum, but I don’t have the time. Comes with a few boxes of spare parts.
