Portable summer cottage 50 m² on swap-body rails, Keuruu

For sale: a thermally insulated portable cottage made up of three modules on swap-body rails.

• The building’s gross floor area is 50 m², total area 60 m², living area 41 m² and volume 130 m³.

• The modules are estimated to be from the 1990s and the building was moved to its current location in the mid-2000s.

• Interior fittings such as doors, panelling, floors, kitchen, washroom and sauna were fitted around 2005.

• The cottage has a 12 V solar power system with a 1,000 W inverter. The system includes 2 new batteries of approximately 60–80 Ah each, but they are not yet installed. The new batteries are included in the sale.

• Also included are a propane heater, a low-use gas fridge and concrete foundation beams measuring approximately 200 x 300 mm. The beams can be left in place if not required.

• The sale includes the base, elevation and section drawings required for the building permit.

• The buyer may remove the cottage once the purchase price has been paid. The cottage must be removed by summer 2026 at the latest.

• A crane truck can access the site next to the cottage.

• The buyer should note that moving is not possible during spring thaw due to road weight restrictions, so the move must be scheduled for frozen ground or early summer.

• The seller did not assemble the buildings personally, so there are no exact details about the constructions at the module joints.

Conditions for the buyer

• The buyer is responsible for all costs related to removal and transport.

• The building permit drawings are indicative only; the elements have never been opened so the types of insulation or thicknesses of the construction layers have not been verified.

• Lifting and preparation work for the moves must comply with applicable occupational safety regulations and legislation; the buyer is responsible for this.

• Hot work without a hot-work permit granted by the seller is prohibited.
