Sold for repair
Why?
- The vehicle was last driven in August 2025. It was being driven to a customer’s driveway when it stalled and would not restart.
- The vehicle has been examined at the Nissan dealer (Wetteri).

The engine cranks but will not run, there are no fault codes.

Rail pressure rises to the requested value and stays at the requested value.
RPM on starting shows over 7,000 rpm according to the tester — they replaced the crankshaft position sensor, still will not start.
Air filter and EGR valve checked, they are OK.
Compression checked on two cylinders: initially about 18 bar, then when the starter sound changes they drop to zero?
Attempted a leakage test but they did not have the correct tool to perform it.
Cylinders inspected with an endoscope; the piston in cylinder 4 looks melted or very heavily carboned.
Rust in the cylinder liners?
Cylinder 4 replaced, still will not start — rail pressure does not rise as expected.
Injector return flow checked, no significant leakage.
Rail pressure regulator checked, no leaks.
It was found that the high-pressure pump was faulty; the pump was replaced — still will not start.
Suspected that the high-pressure pump clogged the injectors — the fuel system needs overhaul (injectors).
Fuel system parts have been ordered and are with the car; the parts list is in the photos.

Vehicle last driven August 2025
- No unusual noises from the chassis.
- Steering OK.
- Wheels do not vibrate.
- Clutch feel and gearbox behave normally.
- Controls function.

Other observations
- Summer tyres are still fitted.
- New studded winter tyres in the boot.
- Wear on the inner edge of the driver’s door, see photos.
- Small dent on the outside of the driver’s door handle, visible on very close inspection.
- Body otherwise shows normal wear consistent with age and mileage.
- Windscreen shows normal wear, otherwise intact.
- Upholstery shows normal wear, no unpleasant odours.
- Second key slightly worn, see photos.
- Service history is in order, most recent December 2024 (see photos).
- Battery replaced March 2025.
