Modifications have been detected in the engine programming or exhaust systems, which means the vehicle is not roadworthy. Just passed inspection with clean papers. However, the car may stall when revs rise to approx. 3–4,000 rpm. It usually starts normally again after a few minutes. Suspected cause is a fuel supply fault (clogged filter, air leak, gunk in the tank, etc.). Not investigated further. We drove the car for an estimated few hundred kilometres as a test; collection by trailer is recommended. The car also warns of a weak battery if the electrics are left on for a while, but it has started fine. Passed inspection with no remarks; next inspection 11 December 2026.
