The best way to enjoy nature and the views is by fatbike or snowshoes. Pack a snack and head out for a hike. Stop for a while and light a fire at a campfire site to enjoy its glow and your food before continuing. Or jump on a snowmobile for a winter safari!

Multi-use trails for fatbiking, walking and skiing run through Kalajoki’s gently rolling heath forest and offer fine sea views in front of Hiekkasärkät. The total trail length is approx. 35 km and can be split into shorter sections. The tourist area’s services are conveniently reachable from the routes. Enjoy doughnuts and hot chocolate at cosy lean-tos and campfire spots or in the area’s pleasant restaurants.

Ice swimming is also available in Kalajoki.

Enjoy an arctic environment on a husky safari or let the crunch of snow under your feet lead you as you snowshoe guided by a husky pack.

There is plenty to do indoors in Kalajoki in any weather.

The share is not subject to a renovation loan / financing charge.

The maintenance fee covers final cleaning, bed linen, towels, consumables, apartment and yard maintenance and purchases, heating, firewood, electricity, water, insurance, property tax, waste management, maintenance services and emergency service, reception and key service, property management, administration, etc.

The buyer gets use of the apartment from week 14/2025 onwards (Sat 28 March 2026 - Sat 4 April 2026). The apartment is available from 17:00 and must be vacated by 11:00.
