This hardly needs an introduction to those who know it, but a few words anyway. A legend, possibly with some of the lowest mileage in Finland. Said to be a former paper-mill fire truck, which would explain the kilometres.


Kept in a garage in recent years and started and moved around the yard occasionally to keep it in running order. It hasn’t been inspected for years and is declared off the road. The last time it was inspected it passed first time.


The worst issue is the rust, as shown in the photos. I haven’t had the time, skill, money or motivation to tackle it further. There are still ready-made arches and skirts available online, so it might not be an impossible project for someone able to do the work.


Timing-belt/service recently done at this mileage. There is a noticeable clunk from the front when four-wheel-drive is engaged while turning — possibly a driveshaft or a universal joint, I haven’t checked further. Battery is poor but it will start a few times when on the charger. Other hidden faults may be present in a vehicle of this age, so sold as seen.


The van has a heater in the rear load area. The partition and wall panels are included, currently detached — there was once the idea to panel the walls and make a kind of camper.


Everyone knows the value of these, so I’m not letting it go for a few hundred euros.


The vehicle is indeed de-registered and uninspected, so collection must be by flatbed or similar. It is, however, driveable.
