Opel Astra 5-door Innovation Plus 105 Turbo Manual, 2019, Lahti

Clean, recently repaired Opel Astra with a 1.0 turbo petrol engine and manual gearbox is being auctioned. Well equipped, including improved ergo seats.

Note:

The car was the previous owner’s daily driver, but the engine warning light comes on occasionally. From invoices it appears the fault has existed for several years. At the time of photography the warning light was not lit, but it will almost certainly come back on sooner or later. The car has been driven by our customer for several thousand km. The car runs normally and the power seems largely intact.

The fault has been investigated and parts have been replaced up to a point at the authorised service Lahden Länsiauto: timing chain kit and engine control unit were renewed within the past few months.

The fault has not been cleared. Länsiauto’s suspicion is that the engine warning light is caused by intermittently low oil pressure.

Länsiauto’s latest diagnosis 28 November 2025 Opel Astra CMO-141 107,609 km

"We completed the final test and read the fault code: P0011 intake camshaft position system. active – likely caused by reduced oil pressure.

During the last visit sensors were swapped and tested cross-wise, sensors OK.

Previous mechanic note:

Oil pressure measurement was 1.1 bar. It is not possible to say for certain whether the low oil pressure is caused by the oil pump or through the bearings.

Possible further action: replace the oil pump (cannot directly measure if the pump is faulty)."
