The Cube Step In Hot Tub — simply "Cube" among friends — is American‑sized. Two metres by two metres gives you four square metres of splash or relaxation area. More bathing space without much extra water use

The Cube holds over 2,200 litres if filled to the brim. That’s unnecessary — when eight to twelve bathers get in, a lot pours over the edge. We recommend a fill level of about 1,800 litres, only a couple of hundred litres more than a normal hot tub. Even though Finland has thousands of lakes, there’s no need to make the Cube a backyard geyser. Learning to judge a suitable water amount for the number of users is easy.

The Step In step has many uses

It may not seem like much, but the single plastic step is multi‑purpose. We designed the Step In step to make entering the Cube easier. The step helps you climb out, serves as a seat for a small child, and acts as a handy armrest — making the Cube a convenient water‑armchair. The Step In solution makes the Cube suitable for all ages and helps people with reduced mobility. Tired limbs are easier to lower into warm water thanks to the Cube's Step In step.

The Cube’s design pays special attention to the corners: corner seats have backrests so corner places are the most sought‑after spots.

A wealth of options

At Hyvän Kaupan Paikka the customer is always right, so we offer several options for the Cube’s interior. Choose the shell colour from five options and consider the Step In step placement relative to the heater. You can also choose the exterior cladding material from three options and the cover colour between black or grey. The shell colour range is inspired by nature — for example deep sea blue or lichen grey. All shades are compatible and work well together.

Gentle heat, efficiently

Our efficient marine‑aluminium Arctic stove heats the water to bathing temperature in a couple of hours. With 35 kilowatts of power, the marine‑aluminium heater is durable and conducts heat well. The heater has a glass hatch so you get the beautiful glow of a wood‑heated tub without needing to open the hatch to check the fire.

Hyvän Kaupan Paikka’s marine‑aluminium heaters are made in Finland. The high‑power heater can handle both fresh and saline water. Carefully considered material details make the heater a top product. The heater package includes two metres of chimney pipe and a rain cap; for extra pipe, a protective grate or spark guard see the accessories list.

Remember that chlorine is not recommended with marine‑aluminium, as chlorine oxidises the material. We recommend changing water regularly and using active‑oxygen tablets (see accessories list). Active oxygen treats water for about 24 hours; afterwards the water can be used for irrigation as it contains no added chemicals and is safer for children. Untreated, oxygen‑free water can quickly develop a slimy film on the tub edges; active oxygen prevents this.

Turbocharged super heater!

An optional super‑crazy 50 kW heater is available as an extra, bringing your tub to bathing temperature almost in one go. With this turbocharged heater the Cube can warm up in around an hour in winter, much quicker in summer. A three‑pipe system enhances water circulation between the heater and the tub. You’ll hardly have time for your drinks to cool — but you won’t hear complaints about the tub heating fast.

Hassle‑free plastic shell

The uniquely shaped, comfort‑focused Cube shell is injection‑moulded polyethylene. This plastic remembers its shape and holds it well. The low‑maintenance plastic shell lasts a long time, which is why we offer a ten‑year warranty.

Because the plastic shell has no moulded seams, dirt has nowhere special to collect. Still, remember to clean the surfaces when changing water — this is easy with normal detergents. Meticulous users may disinfect the shell occasionally, but remember to handle wastewater correctly.

Wood on the surface, insulation underneath – all domestic quality

The Cube ordered from our Oulu factory receives its final finish in beautiful wood. The Lunawood deep‑heat‑treated cladding ages gracefully. You may treat it with wood protection, oil or paint, but untreated wood will gracefully silver over time. Under the wood shell the Cube has thermo‑plastic lining at the sides and over 40 cm of EPS insulation under the tub to keep you warm even in hard frost. The Cube is essentially a winter model, but summer use is of course allowed. Expect relaxed luxury year‑round.
