Economical harvester head for small contracting
The pulse harvester is a reliable tool for a forest owner or small contractor. Work with the harvester head is productive and forest‑friendly. The width in felling position is only 80 cm, making handling in young forest easy. The Naarva S25 operates with oil flows up to 40 l/min, so no additional hydraulics are needed on the tractor or excavator, and installation can be done without extra hoses. All functions are controlled with the loader‑grapple open/close valve. Functions are cutting, tilt (felling), pulse pruning and pruning accelerator.

Radio control allows the harvester to rotate freely, speeding work in tight first thinnings and reducing maintenance points by removing the boom cable.

An optional automatic feed with relay control is also available. When the pulse‑prune button and the “grapple close” function are engaged, the pulse will repeat the pruning movements automatically.

Effortless and durable guillotine cut
Cutting is handled by a patented 25 cm guillotine, which is durable and easy to maintain even in tough conditions. The claws wrap around the tree during cutting and the blade, made from 8 mm wear steel, cuts through the trunk completely.

The cut surface is smooth and even because cutting is always performed against the support claws. The guillotine slides in its own rail and does not stress the rest of the harvester’s structure even when cutting thick wood. The blade does not damage or blunt easily, so stumps can be left low. Short stumps save tractor tyres and no saleable wood is left on the stump. Maintenance of the Naarva pulse harvester mainly consists of greasing the joints.
