ABOUT IONISATION:
Negative ions released into indoor air cause light, positively charged particles to cluster and fall out of the breathing zone as larger, heavier particles.

Negative ionisation also breaks down volatile organic compounds in the air, which are harmful when inhaled. Toxic compounds produced by many microbes, mixed into indoor air as aerosols, form a major health risk when they reach the lungs and bloodstream. Non-mixed, heavy microbial toxins cause harm mainly via spores, which are the producers of these dangerous toxins.

The effectiveness of ozone (O3) and negative ionisation depends on high concentrations.

When a unit produces negative ions in addition to ozone, its effect is 5–10 times better than ozone alone, and high concentrations remove spores and odours effectively even from porous materials such as sofa upholstery and bedding.

Fine particles in indoor air pose a serious health risk in homes and workplaces.

Harmful fine particles travel with inhalation to the lower lungs (alveoli) and into the bloodstream, causing serious health problems beyond asthma and allergies.

Ozonation and negative ionisation work especially effectively in pressurised buildings.

Ozone and negative ionisation together create compounds that effectively remove microbial spores and various odours, for example sewer gases, smoke smells, bacterial and mould toxin odours, and persistent cooking and smoking odours.

They also remove fine particles and MVOC (Microbial Volatile Organic Compounds) and VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) from the air.

Ozonation and negative ionisation produce a pleasant, easy-to-breathe indoor air where people feel comfortable.

Together they produce very clean indoor air also for workplaces.

Ozonation of indoor air cannot be performed while people are present because ozone is produced in large quantities to kill microbial spores. The high ozone concentration combined with negative ionisation gives a good clean even in porous materials. After air treatment the space should be ventilated before occupants return.

Products are sold in the condition they are in at the time of auction or sale. There is no warranty in the auction listing unless specifically stated, and no right of exchange/return. Descriptions are the seller’s estimates of condition. The buyer must inspect the item and test functionality before placing a binding bid. If the buyer does not accept these auction terms they should not bid. The seller reserves the right to accept or reject the highest bid.

The cancellation fee for a binding sale is 10% of the sale price, minimum €200. The cancellation fee is, under VAT law, an amount from which VAT is not charged.

Item must be collected/shipped no later than one week after the auction ends.
