ABOUT IONISATION:
Negative ions introduced into indoor air cause light, positively charged airborne particles to clump together; the resulting larger and heavier particles fall rapidly out of the breathing zone.

Negative ionisation also breaks down volatile organic compounds in the air, which are very harmful when inhaled. Toxic compounds produced by microbes, mixing into indoor air as aerosols — microbial toxins — pose a major health risk if they reach the lungs and bloodstream. Microbial toxins not mixed into indoor air cause harm mainly via spores, which are the producers of these dangerous toxins.

The effectiveness of ozone (O3) and negative ionisation is based on high concentrations.

When a unit produces negative ions in addition to ozone, effectiveness is 5–10 times better than ozone alone, and high concentrations remove spores and odours effectively even from porous materials, such as upholstery and bedding.

Fine particles in indoor air pose a serious health threat in homes and workplaces.

Harmful fine particles travel into the lungs' lower regions (alveoli) with inhalation, enter the bloodstream and cause serious health problems beyond asthma and allergies.

    Ozonation and negative ionisation work especially effectively in an over-pressurised building.

    Ozone combined with negative ionisation produces compounds that can effectively remove microbial spores and various odours, for example sewer gases, smoke smells, bacterial and mould toxin odours, and persistent cooking and smoking odours.

    Ozone and negative ionisation also remove fine particles and MVOC and VOC compounds from the air.

    Ozonation and negative ionisation produce a pleasant, easy-to-breathe indoor air, and people feel comfortable in such a clean space.

    Ozone combined with negative ionisation provides very clean indoor air also for workspaces.

Ozonation of indoor air cannot be performed if people are present, because ozone is always produced in high concentrations to destroy microbial spores.
