Offers must be submitted by the stated deadline. The highest bid is the one the seller has accepted as highest. It is also possible to participate in the auction in person by submitting a bid on site. The seller and buyer undertake to record all bids in the system. By placing a bid the bidder accepts these terms of sale.

Inspection of the property

The bidder is obliged to inspect the property, documents and records before making an offer. The buyer cannot later refer to matters that could have been observed during a prior inspection.

Information provided by the seller

The seller warrants that they have provided the buyer with all information the seller knows and that can be assumed to affect the sale.

The final decision on the sale will be made by the Siikajoki municipal council at its meeting in January 2026.

Conclusion of the sale

The transfer of the property must be made in the form required by the Land Code. The time and place for signing the deed will be agreed with the buyer separately. The purchase price shall be paid at the signing. The fee for the official confirming the deed is paid half by the seller and half by the buyer.

Other costs

The buyer is responsible for the transfer tax in accordance with the tax practice in force at the time.

Withdrawal from the sale

A party that refuses to complete the sale must, under the Land Code, compensate the other party for reasonable costs incurred from advertising, inspecting the property and other necessary actions related to the transaction.
