Runtime increases in cooler conditions and decreases in warmer conditions. Cooling temperatures selectable: -18°C, -15°C, -10°C, -5°C, 0°C, +5°C and +10°C. Heating temperatures selectable: +30/+35/+40/+45/+50/+55/+60°C.

For demonstration use, the fridge was set to +10°C° and the shop temperature was approx. +21°C. It operated for approx. 30 hours with two 18 V 5 Ah batteries, which still had charge remaining.

The case’s LCD display makes it easy to check the internal temperature and battery charge level. The battery compartment also contains a USB socket for charging, for example, a mobile phone or headlamp. Large wheels, carrying and pull handles, and a shoulder strap make the case easy to move. Compatible with Makita 18 V LXT or Makita 40 V XGT batteries. Power consumption when connected to mains electricity is under 2 A (mains adapter is an optional accessory). When connected to a car’s 12 V socket, 7 A (24 V / 4 A). The appliance only consumes power while running; for example, when targeting 10°C, it cools the internal temperature to approx. 8°C. It then enters standby mode and the compressor restarts when the internal temperature rises to 11°C.
