Vitra Alcove Highback is a modern design classic designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, functioning as a room within a room. The sofa’s exceptionally high, upholstered side panels shield from surrounding noise and views, creating a peaceful island for concentration or confidential conversations. Thanks to its stylish, minimalist appearance, the sofa is ideal for modern homes as well as open-plan offices, entrance halls and waiting areas where acoustic protection and a place to retreat are needed.

The furniture is used. You are welcome to inspect the item if you wish.

Please note that furniture in good condition is not new. Further examples of the condition categories applying to all furniture are provided below:

• As new: The furniture is equivalent to new and has no defects, apart from possible dust.

• Good: An office chair’s upholstery may have one small stain, slight pilling or minor wear on the base. An electric desk top may have a small scratch/light wear or marks on the frame. Overall, the furniture is clean and in good condition. All adjustments work.

• Satisfactory: An office chair’s upholstery may have a few small stains or one slightly larger stain, as well as marks on the base. An electric desk top may have more visible scratches or marks and/or scratches on the frame. All adjustments work unless otherwise stated, but may be slightly stiffer, for example on an office chair. An older-model office chair whose upholstery has faded compared with new but is still functional is often classified as satisfactory.

• Passable: The office chair upholstery is dirty or considerably worn and the base is scratched. The electric desk top has several visible scratches and marks. The adjustments work, but may be stiffer, for example on an office chair.

Items won at auction must be collected within one week of the winning bid. Collection takes place from our central warehouse. More detailed collection information will be emailed to the winning bidder.

If the item is delivered, its delivery time will be stated separately. 

After this, we charge a storage fee of €50 per day unless otherwise agreed.
