How bids are submitted

The item is sold by ascending bids in an online auction held on the www.huutokaupat.com website. Participation in the auction requires registration. The deadline for bids is 23/11/2026 at 18:00 or two minutes after the latest bid.

The National Enforcement Authority is not responsible for the functionality of the service provider’s system. The highest bid is the bid accepted as the highest by the service provider’s system. The enforcement officer separately decides whether to accept or reject the highest bid.

The enforcement authority reserves the right to end the sale or extend the sales period.

Buyer’s liability for compensation

Bids submitted in the online auction are binding. If a bid is accepted,

the bidder is obliged to pay the offered purchase price within the stated

payment period. Failure to pay the offered purchase price may result in

the buyer’s liability for compensation under Chapter 5, section 25 of the Enforcement Code.

Lowest acceptable bid

The lowest acceptable bid covers enforcement costs and the preferential claim relating to the vehicle. The lowest acceptable bid does not represent the enforcement officer’s assessment of the vehicle’s fair value.

Payment terms

The buyer must pay the purchase price within 7 days of acceptance of the bid. The purchase price cannot be paid by credit card. The National Enforcement Authority will contact the highest bidder whose bid has been accepted. The highest bidder must state on whose behalf the bid was made. Otherwise, the highest bidder will be deemed to be the buyer.

If payment is not made within the prescribed period, the buyer must pay late-payment interest under section 4(1) of the Interest Act on the full purchase price until the price has been paid or a new sale has been conducted. The current rate of late-payment interest is 9.50%.

Claims relating to the property being sold

At the time the sales brochure was prepared, the vehicle had €27.60 in overdue vehicle taxes. In addition to the purchase price, the buyer must pay the vehicle’s overdue vehicle taxes and any taxes falling due during the sale before putting the vehicle into road use.

The property has been seized and is sold by private sale conducted by the enforcement officer, applying as appropriate the general auction terms laid down in the Enforcement Code.

Appeal

An enforcement appeal against the sale or an act connected with or preceding the sale must be lodged within three weeks of the sale. Instructions for appeal will be attached to the sales decision.
