Daewoo Doosan Solar 140LC-V Engcon NTP-10, Teuva

Our largest excavation jobs have been completed, so this 14-tonne Daewoo equipped with an Engcon tiltrotator is now available. The engine is a 6-cylinder turbocharged Doosan DB58TIS-C, with very moderate fuel consumption when excavating. The tracks are 700 mm wide and in good condition, as are the drive sprockets. The idler wheel on one track moves in its adjustment slot, and the lower track rollers are completely worn out. The slew ring has no play, and the boom and dipper are surprisingly good and tight; there is some play in the bucket-end pins. It has an NTP-10 attachment, and the Engcon tiltrotator can be controlled from the joysticks using the buttons. The machine also has air conditioning (requires recharging) and a Webasto heater, which we have not needed as it has not been driven in cold weather. The hour meter display shows the hours whenever it feels like it; when it arrived, it showed just under 9,000 hours, and it now has approximately 200 hours more. A fuel filling pump with hose is included and works. The grading bucket is 1,300 mm wide, and the corners of its cutting edge have already been rounded off, i.e. worn. The fuel gauge and oil pressure gauge work, as do all work lights and the beacon. The oil pressure sensor comes to life a moment after the engine has been running. The lower part of the display is dark, but all the warning lights at the top work. The machine starts well and smokes briefly when cold, but not afterwards. It does not leak significantly and requires no special tricks to start excavating. Everything needed works well; the cab is comfortable, spacious, quiet and warm. The machine has no automatic greasing system, but it is easy to grease as the nipples are fairly well grouped into just a few locations. The machine is no longer new but is used; nevertheless, it is a very functional and capable machine that does what it should. It still has plenty of power.
