Toyota Avensis 2.0 Wagon *Rare Premium Version*, 2010, Lappeenranta

Hello again, everyone.

This time we are putting up for auction and selling to the highest bidder a legendary Toyota Avensis with a 2.0-litre engine and the rare Premium trim level.

This model is known as an exceptionally reliable car, and I would even say that this particular car has the most reliable powertrain of all. That 2.0-litre chain-driven engine is unlikely ever to fail if it is simply looked after. It has at least twice as many kilometres ahead of it as behind it.

The excellent equipment has already been praised: this car has, among other things, a leather interior with electrically adjustable seats and memory settings, a glass roof with an electric blind, electrically adjustable steering wheel, touchscreen navigation, reversing camera, Bluetooth, automatic climate control, etc. Very few Avensis models have all of these.

In appearance, this is still a proper-looking car, although it is showing its age and the marks that come with it. It has not been crumpled and never has been. The worst mark is probably the dent in the rear wing, which might straighten out if it were pushed from behind; personally, I would not worry about it. The photographs should show all the marks.

The interior looks tidy and is intact. Most importantly, it has not been smoked in and no animals have been carried. This model has a full-leather interior, making it particularly appealing. Of course, this one could use a little cleaning, and some leather conditioner would not go amiss either.

On the road, this is absolutely excellent, and nothing negative comes to mind. Everything works, and works well. The bearings do not whine, the gearbox and clutch work as they should, the engine has all its power, and there is nothing to criticise about the brakes. Exactly as good as it should be.

There is also considerably more power than in the average Toyota.

Both sets of wheels are on alloy rims, and both the summer tyres and friction winter tyres are still in good condition.

This is not a car that has been passed around. It is a genuine Finnish car that has had two owners. It was originally sold as a company car in the Swedish-speaking region, so the owner's manual is in Swedish, although a Finnish version can probably be downloaded online. The previous owner had it from 2019 onwards, so it has clearly been a well-liked car.

It was inspected at the end of August this year, and the only note was a headlamp that was not working; naturally, this has been repaired. The next time the inspection engineer needs to be troubled is not until the end of August 2027.

Here we have a good-looking car for many years to come, so we can surely agree that it is well worth bidding on.

There are plenty of photographs and a couple of videos too, which should give you a clear picture of the car even on the other side of the screen. You are of course also welcome to come and view and test-drive it at Auto-Kilta in Lappeenranta. The car is at the far end of the used-car row, so it can also be viewed from outside in the evening.

As soon as you read this, put a reminder in your phone calendar that the auction ends on Thursday, 19 November 2026 at 21:12, so you will remember to make sure you secure it in the final moments.

And if you do not need one yourself right now but know someone for whom this would fit like a glove, do tell your friend so they can bid and take it home.

This is a completely honest auction without a reserve or minimum price: the highest bidder will definitely collect it, whatever the final bid may be. In my opinion, auctions with reserves are not even real auctions. :) Bid loudly enough for the neighbouring village to hear.
