NOW available is a Kia Ceed for its next owner—someone who is not put off by a little work and does not want to pay a nearly new-car price.
This car has been presented for inspection, but an agreement with the inspector was not reached this time. The inspection certificate makes for honest reading (found in the last photo), so there is no need to guess the car’s current condition from a crystal ball.
What do you get?
A good basis for someone who knows their way around tools, has a suitable garage in mind or wants a project car. The repairs require investigation and money, so this is not an offer for those seeking completely trouble-free motoring immediately after the auction.
The odometer read 259,757 kilometres at the time of inspection. The car has covered plenty of kilometres, and now it is up to the next owner to decide what the journey will bring.
During a short test drive, we made the following observations:
- The inspection identified deficiencies in the brakes, including weak parking-brake performance and a leak in the rear brakes.
-The inspection also identified repairs needed to the front axle, lighting and washer systems.
The car has not undergone a technical condition assessment, and the operation of all equipment has not been tested. It is possible to view the car at our premises in Hyvinkää.
