Originally delivered from the factory with metallic golden-brown paint and a 1.2-litre engine, it was fitted just under 20 years ago with a 1.9 CIH engine with fuel injection and a 5-speed Getrag gearbox. The modifications are recorded in the registration documents.

The rocker cover gasket is at least seeping, and apparently the crankshaft seal is also leaking slightly.
The paintwork already has areas requiring attention, as well as some general tidying.
The speedometer also does not work, but I have managed with a GPS speedometer.
The additional gauges are dreadful tuning gauges, and at least the water temperature gauge does not work, but the original temperature and fuel gauges are operational.
The heater blows hot air continuously if coolant can circulate through the matrix, but this has been dealt with by installing a manually operated valve in the engine bay.
The car will go into winter storage on 8 November unless it is sold before then; after that, the matter may be reconsidered in spring.
