Defects and other observations

Boat

The steering cable was extremely stiff. It now moves fairly easily again, but removing the cable and cleaning the tilt tube would probably be advisable before going any further.
After standing unused, the paintwork has faded, the seat upholstery is torn or missing, and the plywood floor is already rather worn. One hinge on the front locker lid is broken.
It was formerly used for work and has countless smaller dents and at least four holes above the waterline, including at the bow – nevertheless, it has remained remarkably dry, for example at the quay.
The electrics would probably benefit from some cleaning and grounding to the hull somewhere. The bilge pump runs from the switch but does not pump – this may also be due to the wiring. Not a single light remains. A new battery is included.
At least a fire extinguisher and horn are missing from the equipment.

Engine

The timing belt was last changed in 2018. It has not run many hours since, but due to its age it may be worth replacing.
Water is getting into the gear oil; the propeller-shaft seal is probably worn out.
Low tell-tale water pressure; the impeller is probably due for replacement.

Trailer

The side-support stays are somewhat corroded, and at least one keel roller is cracked.
One end-outline light is not working (the plug looks corroded), and one rear reflector is broken.
