Log Barn with Slatted Walls 20 m²!, Oulu

Traditional, high-quality storage with impressive proportions: Log Barn with Slatted Walls 20 m²

Be prepared for changing weather! Storing your belongings outdoors is not good for them.

This well-ventilated slatted shed is suitable for many uses besides traditional firewood storage. You can keep bicycles, kick sledges, mopeds, quad bikes and snowmobiles out of the weather in dry indoor space. The slatted barn is also convenient for storing garden tools, from shovels to axes, as well as outdoor games. All these can be kept under cover during winter too. Patio furniture can also overwinter conveniently and easily in the Log Barn. No more unsightly tarpaulin wrapping for garden furniture and machinery. Everything fits in the barn! Add an impressive Log Barn to your garden for storage and choose the size that suits you from several options, with either slatted or solid walls. All barns are made from sturdy Finnish spruce.

The 20 m² log barn is our largest model. It can hold several years’ worth of firewood, as well as a large amount of other goods and machinery. The floor measures 5000 mm x 4000 mm. The ridge height is 2965 mm at the centre and the wall height is 1750 mm at the edges.

The two-door advantage

The doors of Hyvän Kaupan Paikka’s log barns are generously sized, allowing many kinds of vehicles and equipment to pass through. In a two-door barn, it is easy to store two machines in active use: drive them out conveniently and return them indoors after use. Double doors make the barn more practical and reduce the risk of items blocking the doorway. Build a ramp in front of the barn to make storing wheeled vehicles and machinery, such as a lawnmower, even easier.

Mould does not thrive in a slatted barn

The ventilated design of a slatted barn is a great invention. Items are protected, while the space is efficiently ventilated, allowing moisture to move in and out. Firewood continues to dry in the slatted barn, and exhaust gases are effectively ventilated away from machinery during entry and exit. Thanks to the ventilation, mould does not begin to thrive in these barns, provided you remember to treat or paint the wood.

Finish it your way

Log barns can be given a stylish look with a personalised surface treatment. Treat the barn with wood preservative or paint it to match your house or cottage and suit the surroundings. You can also have fun and brighten up your garden by using bold colours or painting the door as a colourful focal point.
