Defects and other observations

Defects.

- The driver's side window regulator is broken and the window will not stay up without wedges (shown in the picture)

- The sliding door does not open from the inside.

- Cracks in the windscreen (shown in the picture)

- Rust, scratches and dents on the paintwork.

- The power steering makes a noise when turned to full lock.

- Coolant needs topping up occasionally (known leak location)

- The upper locking mechanism of the left rear door is missing; the door does stay closed and locks. (shown in the picture)

- When driving at high speed (120+ km/h), the power occasionally disappears. I have always switched the vehicle off and restarted it while moving, after which it has worked again.

- A belt occasionally squeaks at idle.

- If the glow plugs are used, the vehicle needs to be cranked for quite a long time before it starts; without using the glow plugs, it starts immediately.

- The Webasto does not work.

- The lower bracket of the left rear door is detached (shown in the picture)


Despite all the defects, it has worked very well for me.
