For auction: a 2002 Saab 9-5 Aero estate with a 2.3-litre turbo engine and automatic transmission.

The car has covered 336,000 km, and its next MOT is due in April 2027. The original engine has been replaced with a 2004 B235R.

Overall condition is rather poor considering its age and mileage. However, the car is roadworthy, drives well and the gearbox works normally. The Aero is still comfortable to drive, and the turbo engine has plenty of power.


Known faults and shortcomings:

  • The engine has an oil leak; its exact source has not been identified.

  • The idle occasionally fluctuates, especially when the engine is warm.
