Significant improvements over the previous V2.0 version:

• Faster dual-band 2.4 GHz / 5 GHz WiFi connection (the older version only supports 2.4 GHz); even large updates download much faster

• Support for new protocols (CAN-FD and DoIP), already used in some newer car models from 2020 onwards

This model is operated easily via its touchscreen instead of buttons. The reader has a built-in 6100 mAh battery that charges while connected to the vehicle’s OBD port (a USB charging cable is also included, so it can be charged with a standard phone USB charger).

Most cars are identified automatically when the reader is connected to the vehicle’s OBD port, and it retrieves the vehicle details using the VIN. If this does not work, or you prefer to enter the vehicle details manually, that is also possible.

The reader always stays up to date because it is easy to update: simply connect it to a wireless network (WiFi) and update the reader.

The reader software and user manual are in English.

This is genuinely a professional-use device built to last. We have received plenty of positive feedback, and the first unit used in our own workshop has been in active use for over 6 years. Updates are still released frequently.
