For auction: a K4 750 Gixxer taken in part exchange. The bike came straight from use and has been built with a streetfighter theme.


Overall appearance is not the cleanest possible, but suits the style! The bike has been wrapped dark green, finish graded 7/10. Small marks and age-related wear here and there.

Wear parts are in good condition, with nearly new tyres.


Chassis, brakes and engine are in good shape!


Observed during an approx. 5 km test ride:

  • Runs smoothly.

  • Good brake and clutch feel.

  • Gears engage smoothly and stay engaged.

  • At high revs the bike starts to cut out (see defects and notes below).

  • No leaks observed from the chassis or engine.

Defects and other observations

During a brief test/inspection, we made the following observations: 


  • The engine starts cutting out at high revs (see the end of the video). This was not investigated further, but the charging voltage was checked with a multimeter. Resting voltage was 15 V and charging voltage at idle was around 18–19 V. This most likely indicates a faulty voltage regulator, causing overcharging and probably also the cutting out at high revs.

  • High-beam headlights do not work, and the daytime running light cuts out when the handlebars are turned (see video).



The lot has not undergone a technical condition inspection by us, and all its features have not been tested. It may have hidden defects that we did not notice. The lot may be inspected before placing a binding bid. Please arrange an inspection in advance.
