Launch X431 CRP123E V3.0

Note! This is the latest updated V3.0 version for 2026!

Significant improvements over the previous V2.0 version:

Faster dual-band 2.4 GHz / 5 GHz Wi-Fi connection (the older version only supports 2.4 GHz); even large updates download much faster
Modern USB Type-C charging port
Support for new protocols (CAN-FD and DoIP), already used in some newer car models from 2020 onwards
More memory and performance: the new version has 32 GB of storage and 2 GB of RAM (the older version has 8/16 GB of storage and 1 GB of RAM)
Seven free service functions (availability varies by make and model):

1. Oil Reset: Resets the service interval after an oil change.

2. Electronic Parking Brake (EPB Reset): Brake pad replacement mode/adaptation for electronic parking brakes.

3. Steering Angle Sensor Calibration (SAS Reset): Resets the steering angle, for example after wheel alignment or sensor replacement.

4. Throttle Adaptation (Throttle Relearn): Restores the throttle’s basic settings after cleaning or replacement.

5. ABS Brake Fluid Bleeding (ABS Bleeding): Bleeding programme for the ABS pump and system.

6. Battery Registration / Matching (BMS / Battery Matching): Codes/registers a new battery in the vehicle’s power management system.

7. Diesel Particulate Filter Regeneration (DPF Reset)

A convenient and versatile fault code reader for up to 57 different makes (see the list of supported makes in the final image)!

This model does not need to be operated by pressing buttons; it is easy to use via the touchscreen. The reader has its own large 6100 mAh battery, which charges while connected to the vehicle’s OBD port (a USB charging cable is also included, so it can be charged with a standard phone USB charger).

Most vehicles are identified automatically when the reader is connected to the vehicle’s OBD port, and the reader retrieves the vehicle details using the VIN. If this is not possible, or you prefer to enter the vehicle details yourself, that is also possible.

The reader always stays up to date because it is easy to update: simply connect it to a wireless network (Wi-Fi) and update the reader.

The reader’s software and user manual are in English.

This is genuinely a device intended for professional use and built to last. We have received a great deal of positive feedback, and the first one used in our own workshop has been in active use for over 6 years. Updates are still released frequently.

Versatile functions:

reading fault codes (engine, ABS, SRS/Airbag, transmission)
clearing fault codes (engine, ABS, SRS/Airbag, transmission)
monitoring sensor values digitally and graphically (live data)
Seven free service functions
