Most cars are identified automatically when the reader is connected to the vehicle’s OBD port, using the VIN to retrieve the vehicle details. If this is not possible, or you prefer to enter the details yourself, that is also possible.

The reader stays up to date because it is easy to update: simply connect it to a wireless network (Wi-Fi) and update the reader.
