Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, 2007, Janakkala

Additional information

Here is the famous “vehicle with many possibilities”! Registered as an M1 passenger car / motor caravan, it has seating for five people in “camping mode” and a 150 x 190 cm bed for two. Mattresses can also be placed on the rear floor if accommodation is needed for more people. The registered seating capacity is nine (1+8), and the original removable bus seats are included. It also has proper motor caravan infrastructure: a leisure battery that charges while driving and from mains electricity, plus a compressor-powered (12 V) refrigerator for keeping food and drinks cool. A Vevor diesel heater with its own fuel tank is installed in the rear. There is also a single-hob mains-powered cooker. Shore power is provided via a Defa mains inlet and Defa interior socket. The campsite can be extended on the side facing the garden with a large cassette awning. If the sleeping capacity is not enough, the vehicle has a tow bar for towing, for example, a caravan. In the cab, the driver benefits from an automatic gearbox, air conditioning and cruise control. A great vehicle for use as a people carrier, campervan, panel van or even a larger shopping car. The mileage is not particularly high for a vehicle like this, having only just passed 300,000 km.

The vehicle is a self-built campervan. It has wear consistent with its mileage and age. The engine Webasto heater did not start, and this has not been investigated further. The vehicle cannot be described as rust-free either. There will certainly be projects for the next owner, but it drives well and is a perfectly usable vehicle.
