ABOUT IONISATION:
Negative ions introduced into indoor air help remove light, positively charged particles suspended in the air by attaching to them. The resulting larger and heavier molecule quickly settles out of the breathing zone.

Negative ionisation also breaks down volatile organic compounds in the air, which are very harmful when inhaled indoors. Toxic compounds produced by various microbes and mixed into indoor air as aerosols can cause a significant health hazard if they enter the lungs and bloodstream. Heavy microbial toxins that do not become airborne generally pose a health risk only through the spores that produce these dangerous toxins.

The effectiveness of ozone (O₃) and negative air ionisation is based on high concentrations.

When the device produces negative ions in addition to ozone, effectiveness is 5–10 times better than ozone alone, and high concentrations efficiently remove spores and odours from porous materials such as sofas and bed linen.

Fine particles in indoor air pose a serious health risk in homes and workplaces.

Harmful fine particles enter the bloodstream through the lower parts of the lungs (alveolar cells/alveoli) when breathed in and can cause serious health problems in addition to asthma and allergies.

    Ozonation and negative air ionisation are particularly effective in pressurised buildings.

    Ozone and negative air ionisation together produce compounds that efficiently remove microbial spores and various odours, such as sewer gases, smoke, bacterial and mould toxin odours, and persistent odours from cooking and smoking.

    Ozone and negative air ionisation also remove fine particles and MVOC (Microbial Volatile Organic Compound) and VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) compounds from the air.
