Hyvän Kaupan Paikka proudly presents:

Compact utility space for a holiday cottage or home garden: Storage Outhouse

An indoor toilet is so last season. Get an outdoor toilet experience for your garden: the Outhouse, with handy storage space attached. The old terms were privies and outdoor toilets, but we think Outhouse sounds better. Using an outdoor toilet can be an experience, as it brings nature closer. During your visit, you can listen to birdsong and feel a gentle breeze through the door you left open, taking you back to the early days of humanity, before flush toilets existed. Afterwards, you can grab a spade and bags of compost from the small storage space behind the wall and get on with your gardening. Of course, you could store 20 years’ worth of toilet paper there, but many people will think of more sensible uses.

Turn the sturdy, log-built Storage Outhouse into a modern toilet oasis, or keep it traditional without rugs and curtains. Make a special holder for toilet cartoons and make using the toilet fun. Paint your Outhouse to suit your taste and enjoy the outdoor toilet experience. Using the Outhouse will put a smile on your face.

The Storage Outhouse has a robust frame and a side window that lets light into the interior. The doors are sturdy and glazed. A toilet or composting toilet is not automatically included, but can be supplied for an additional charge. We recommend arranging ventilation for your chosen toilet, e.g. a ventilation pipe kit for a dry toilet. Roofing material is included.
