A Transporter left standing unused after work duties, and its roadworthiness inspection has expired. A Transporter for someone who likes to do their own repairs and wants a vehicle for hard use... For inspection, it likely needs only some minor welding on the sills; the underside is in good condition and has not yet required much welding. The vehicle has a working Webasto heater, an intact windscreen and good tyres. It pulls well and does not use oil, but sometimes requires a long start when warm...

Defects and other observations

The engine often requires a long start when warm and then emits a puff of smoke. The tailgate lock is faulty and does not always open from the exterior handle. There is rust damage on the body sills; one small hole needs patching for inspection. The paintwork has clear-coat damage, scratches and scuffs.
