Jamis Ventura Sport 28-inch 16-speed road bike, Helsinki

Used Jamis Ventura Sport 28-inch road bike with Shimano Sora 16-speed derailleur, sold by auction as an inventory clearance item.

Frame size M, generally suitable for most riders 165–178 cm tall.

Broker's comments:

• The bike has been stored in a warm space for several years

• At the previous service, the rear wheel, cassette and rear tyre were replaced

• Equipment: OnGuard Rottweiler armoured cable lock (2 keys), lockable quick-release axles, COB50 front and rear LED lights, reflectors, bottle cage and bell. The stem is an XLC short stem with a raised angle (the original longer stem is included).

• The tyres have good tread (new Schwalbe Lugano 25-622 at the rear) and hold air. The gears engage normally and the brakes work precisely, bringing the bike to a stop. No unusual bearing play is apparent and no spokes are missing. The wheels are sufficiently true (new Alexrims at the rear). The bike rolls freely. The saddle is original and intact. The pedals are new, basic models without cleats.

• On the surface, the bike is in condition typical for its age. The paintwork naturally has normal signs of use. There are the usual amounts of scuffing and scratches considering its age. Overall, however, it has a tidy appearance.
