Heavy-duty reed-cutting machine / suction dredger. The pontoons are made of 4 mm marine-grade aluminium, divided into two internal compartments, with drain plugs and bilge pumps on both sides. The tracks are self-made from 4-ply conveyor belt. The machine is 2.6 m wide and 5 m long, and has an excavator-style cab that moves hydraulically/electrically, allowing you to balance the machine according to the conditions. Hydraulic oil tank approx. 170 litres; the hydraulic pumps and hoses are properly sized, providing ample capacity. Danfoss OMS 315 drive motors transmit power to the drive rollers via chains. The machine is driven using foot pedals, and the driving speed can be adjusted. The 40-litre fuel tank has a mechanical level gauge. The engine is a VW 1.9 turbo diesel. The dashboard includes gauges for engine speed and temperature, an hour meter, voltage meters, etc. Mechanical throttle, windscreen wipers and work lights. Battery purchased in 2022, located under the driver's seat. The machine was last used in autumn 2022, after which it remained unused and was stored outdoors. It was started and tested about a week ago; it started immediately, and the hydraulics were tested and work.

However, no guarantee can be given regarding its operation, as it has been unused for several years. NOTE: The machine is sold without tools, but all Truxor tools fit it directly, and a couple of spare parts are included (including a track roller assembly and a Truxor tool attachment). A good project for someone with the necessary skills; there is plenty of reed and common reed to cut in Finland, and as I understand it, there is a shortage of operators. A comparable new Truxor costs over €100,000.
