The vehicle is sold with engine damage and for repair.

Significant mechanical damage has been identified in the engine. An inspection carried out by a repair shop found that engine cylinders 1, 2 and 5 have seized.

Before the inspection, the engine had exhibited uneven running, heavy smoke and severe crankcase blow-by.

The repair shop also found that the cooling system expansion tank was empty. One of the two water-pump belts was missing, while the belt in place was loose, turned inside out and partly off the pulley grooves.

According to the repair shop, inadequate water-pump operation may have caused the engine to overheat and consequently led to the identified cylinder damage. The exact time or chain of events leading to the damage could not be verified.

The engine requires significant repair. The repair shop has investigated the availability of spare parts, but their availability and prices could not be confirmed. The final engine repair costs have not been determined.

The engine sump was removed during the inspection and will be refitted before handover. The engine contains no oil. The vehicle must not be started and cannot be driven in its current condition.

The vehicle’s other technical condition and any further repair needs have not been comprehensively inspected. Other faults and deficiencies may also be present.

Collection and transport

The vehicle is located in a repair shop yard, and the buyer is responsible for collecting it.

The vehicle is not roadworthy and cannot be collected by driving it. The buyer must arrange suitable towing or transport by a flatbed vehicle at their own expense.

This is a large and heavy motorhome, so the buyer must confirm in advance that the transport equipment is suitable for the vehicle’s dimensions and mass.

Practical collection arrangements will be agreed separately with the handover location.

Other important information

The vehicle is expressly sold as a repair project in the condition described above. The buyer must be prepared for a major engine overhaul or possible engine replacement, as well as other repair needs.
