Model history

The Valmet 702 was introduced in 1972 as part of Valmet’s popular 02 series. At the time, it was a modern Finnish agricultural tractor designed with particular emphasis on the driver’s working conditions. The cab was considered quiet and warm for its era.

The Valmet 702 became popular on Finnish farms thanks to its durable construction, efficient diesel engine and straightforward maintenance.

Today, the model is a valued part of Finnish tractor history and an interesting option both as a working tractor and for hobby or restoration use.
