Over the years, the vehicle has been adapted for motocross/enduro use. The previous owner used it to transport karting equipment. The rear transport area was built to carry one bike (a tight fit when the bike is upright), but can accommodate two large bikes if necessary. Metal drawers on one side, spaces for paddock tents and mounting points for spare wheels. It is not long enough for snowmobile use, but the partition could probably be modified by moving it. The intermediate area/cab provides scope for additional space.

Overall vehicle length 7.16 m, height 2.8 m and width 2.1 m.

Transport area length 190 cm + 15 cm recess for the front wheel (a Yamaha 250 cc 2-stroke fits exactly).

Width at the wheel housings 127 cm and overall width 189 cm.

Rear height 134 cm and overall height 227 cm.

The vehicle underwent extensive refurbishment a few years ago and was put back into use after the repairs in July 2021.

Apparently the vehicle had already been involved in an accident during its years in Sweden: when we acquired it, the vertical, upper and lower beams at the rear were found to be bent, and a crack/dent in the fibreglass side pod on the passenger side had been badly repaired.

Both side pods were refurbished and painted.

The rear of the vehicle was rebuilt: the bent beams were replaced; the old floor panels and wet insulation were removed from the transport area; approximately one metre of rusted floor sheet was replaced, along with the rear frame beams; rust spots on the wheel housings were repaired; the area was properly rust-protected and painted; the floor was panelled with waterproof plywood; and the transport area was finished with thick vinyl flooring, raised approximately 5 cm at the edges, with the seams welded watertight.

The passenger-side sill panel was completely replaced, the driver's side was repair-welded and the underside was undersealed.

The external wall surfaces are thick, plastic-coated panels, while the interior walls are panelled and very tidy; rust will not affect these.

The rear doors have been painted (the paint has started to crack in the summer heat, although the overall appearance remains tidy), and the door seals were replaced. All electrics at the rear were renewed, the lights were replaced, and additional reversing lights were fitted both above and below the doors.

The rear shock absorbers were replaced with firmer ones.

The gearbox has been refurbished, and the brakes serviced; discs, pads and fluid were replaced.

The engine underwent extensive work 5 years ago: the injectors were serviced, valves ground/refurbished, bearings replaced, along with one piston and connecting rod, all seals, the auxiliary belt and all pulleys, etc. It now needs another complete overhaul or a replacement engine.

The alternator was replaced in April 2023.

A battery isolator switch was installed in 2024.

The roof is fibreglass and intact. The long roof window extends from behind the cab to the rear of the vehicle and is partly covered from inside with finishing materials. The roof window is intact and no leaks have been observed so far. Snow has been regularly cleared from the roof in winter.

The awning is 4.5 m wide; the fabric is slightly stretched and the opening mechanism somewhat tired, but it is tidy and still fully usable.

The intermediate area has a rear bed measuring 130 x 190 cm. There is a bed for one above the cab, which has been used as a storage shelf. If needed, an additional sleeping place can be made on the floor; a standard 200 cm mattress fits between the front and rear seats.

The intermediate area has upper and lower cupboards, built by the previous owner, a small dining table for 4, and wooden surfaces painted last spring.

65-litre refrigerator, space for a small microwave (a microwave is not currently installed). Worktop, sink and tap. The tap is not connected; there is no water tank or grey-water tank (we used a canister in the lower cupboard for small amounts of liquid).

Space for a large leisure battery in the lower cupboard (the leisure battery has been removed for winter storage and is not included). A small inverter can be included if desired.

The walls are insulated; there is no separate interior heater. The underfloor heating operates via the vehicle's coolant circuit and can be isolated from the vehicle circuit with a shut-off valve. We have managed well from April to October by supplying mains electricity from a generator in the evening and warming the cabin with a portable heater; it stays warm enough overnight, and the floor can be warmed with the Webasto in the morning.

The intermediate-area floor is laminate. It still looks tidy overall, although it has softened slightly over the years, and remains durable.

We have owned the vehicle for almost 10 years and have really enjoyed it, so we would not like to part with it. However, the level of activity in our hobby, the investment required by the engine and our own motivation are not quite in balance. We are still undecided between selling and repairing it. It will not be sold for next to nothing, even though the engine needs extensive work.

This would be an excellent vehicle for a capable enthusiast. You will not find another one like it in this country!
