Now up for auction: a stylish C-Class Mercedes! This flagship model came to us as a part-exchange from daily use and is being sold at auction due to its mileage, although these cars are apparently not particularly afraid of kilometres.

On a short test drive, it felt like a very sound vehicle: the engine seems to work as it should, the gearbox changes smoothly, and the drivetrain, brakes, etc. appear to function properly.

The bodywork and interior are in decent condition; you would not guess the mileage without looking at the odometer. Some typical stone chips and minor scratches on the bumpers.

Main equipment:

Tow bar
Parking sensors

Cruise control
Dual-zone automatic climate control
Engine block heater and interior heater socket
Automatic headlights
Front heated seats
Partially electrically adjustable seats
Good Michelin summer tyres on alloy wheels
2 keys
etc...

The rear subframe was replaced on this car at the manufacturer's expense, and a software update was also carried out on the engine management system by the manufacturer.

Defects and other observations

According to the previous owner, warning lights may sometimes appear on the dashboard when starting, but they disappear after switching the car off and restarting it.

This is presumably due to a weak battery, which has not been replaced. The car was also taken for diagnostics for this reason, but no other explanation than a weak battery was found.

We have not experienced this fault despite several starts.

The rear-window wiper does not work.

A presentable and sound motor!
