Janne Muusari – Oil Painting / Still Life (Signed) JJK1, Helsinki

See the condition in the pictures. The furnishings are used.

For sale is a beautiful and atmospheric oil still life painted by Janne Muusari (1886–1966). The work depicts an open Bible, a candlestick and a vase in the background. The subject brings to mind Vincent van Gogh’s famous Bible still life, but is executed in Muusari’s own dark, evocative and refined style. The painting bears the artist’s genuine “Muusari” signature. The valuable frame shown in the pictures, which beautifully complements the painting, is included.
