ABOUT IONISATION:
Negative ions introduced into indoor air help destroy light, positively charged particles floating in the air by attaching to them. The resulting larger and heavier molecule quickly settles down, away from the breathing zone.

Negative ionisation also breaks down volatile organic compounds in the air, which are very harmful when inhaled indoors. Toxic compounds produced by various microbes and mixed into indoor air as aerosols—microbial toxins—pose a serious health hazard when they enter the lungs and bloodstream unhindered. Heavy microbial toxins that do not mix into indoor air cause health hazards instead only through the spores that produce these dangerous toxins.

The effectiveness of ozone (O₃) and negative air ionisation is based on high concentrations.

When the unit produces negative ions in addition to ozone, the effect is 5–10 times better than ozone alone, and high concentrations effectively remove spores and odours even from porous materials, such as sofas and bed linen.

Fine particles in indoor air pose a serious health risk in homes and workplaces.

Harmful fine particles travel with inhaled air through the lower lungs (alveolar cells/alveoli) into the bloodstream and cause serious health problems in addition to asthma and allergies.

    Ozonation and negative air ionisation work particularly effectively in pressurised buildings.

    Ozone and negative air ionisation together create compounds that effectively remove microbial spores and various odours, such as sewer gases, smoke odours, bacterial and mould-toxin odours, and persistent odours caused by cooking and smoking.

    Ozone and negative air ionisation also remove fine particles and MVOC (Microbial Volatile Organic Compound) and VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) compounds from the air.

    Ozonation and negative air ionisation create pleasant indoor air that is easy to breathe and comfortable to be in.

    Ozone and negative air ionisation together also create very clean indoor air in workplaces.

Indoor-air ozonation cannot be carried out when people are present, because ozone is always produced at high concentrations to destroy microbial spores.
