Significant improvements over the previous V2.0 version:

• Faster dual-band 2.4 GHz / 5 GHz Wi-Fi connection (the older version only has 2.4 GHz); even large updates download much faster

• Support for newer protocols (CAN-FD and DoIP), already used in some newer 2020+ vehicle models

• More memory and performance: the new version has 32 GB storage and 2 GB RAM (the older version has 8/16 GB storage and 1 GB RAM)

• Seven free service functions (availability varies by vehicle make and model):

1. Oil Reset: Resets the service interval after an oil change.

2. Electronic Parking Brake (EPB Reset): Brake pad replacement mode/adaptation for electronic handbrakes.

3. Steering Angle Sensor Calibration (SAS Reset): Resets the steering angle, for example after wheel alignment or sensor replacement.

4. Throttle Adaptation (Throttle Relearn): Restores the throttle’s basic settings after cleaning or replacement.

5. ABS Brake Fluid Bleeding (ABS Bleeding): Bleeding programme for the ABS pump and system.

6. Battery Registration / Matching (BMS / Battery Matching): Codes/registers a new battery in the vehicle’s power management system.

This model does not need to be operated by pressing buttons; it is easy to use via the touchscreen. The reader has a built-in 6100 mAh battery, which charges while connected to the vehicle’s OBD port (a USB charging cable is also included, so it can be charged with a standard phone USB charger).

Most vehicles are identified automatically when the reader is connected to the vehicle’s OBD port, using the vehicle identification number. If this does not work, or you want to enter the vehicle details manually, that is also possible.

The reader always stays up to date because it is easy to update: simply connect it to a wireless network (Wi-Fi) and update the reader.

The reader’s software and user manual are in English.

This is genuinely a professional-use device built to last. We have received plenty of positive feedback, and the first unit in our own workshop has already been in active use for over 6 years. Updates are still released frequently.
