Polaris SPORTSMAN 850, 2014 (89 h/1,000 km) + snow plough blade, Ylöjärvi

For sale: Polaris Sportsman Forest 850, model year 2013 / first registered in 2014. It has only 89 hours and 1,000 km on the clock. I have used the ATV for approximately 1.5 years at my holiday home, mainly for yard work and snow clearing. Before that, the previous owner used it only for transporting firewood on their own property. In June 2026, authorised dealer R.M. Heino Oy recorded 84 hours during an inspection. The engine and drivetrain are practically as new. 850 models of this age typically have many times more hours.

At the end of May 2026, the ATV was driven into a tree at approximately 20 km/h, damaging the front left corner. The machine works: it starts, drives and the four-wheel drive works. It has been used throughout the past summer at the holiday home for transporting wood and other work. However, the front end requires repair; see the damage below.

Authorised dealer damage inspection (R.M. Heino Oy, 10 June 2026):

• Minor frame damage: the front mounting point of the left lower wishbone is pushed slightly inwards

• Play in the steering; noticeable when driving slowly, but the vehicle tracks straight.

• Front plastics damaged: front end, headlamp housing and plough mount

• Left front light and headlamp assembly damaged/missing

• Indentation in the voltage regulator guard plate; the regulator may also have been hit

• Indentation in the radiator

  
  

Total repair estimate from the authorised dealer (R.M. Heino): €8,684 (new genuine parts and workshop labour), comprising:

• Frame replacement (frame and labour): €3,403

• Plastics, front end and plough mount: €2,661

• Radiator, fan housing, voltage regulator, left upper and lower wishbones and small parts: €2,325

• Front light: €296

The authorised dealer did not recommend having the repairs carried out there due to the cost and slow delivery of genuine parts, and stated that the machine can be used as it is, for example at a holiday home. Repairs carried out independently using used or aftermarket parts would cost significantly less. The complete damage inspection and quotation, including part numbers, are attached.
