Kia Carens to repair or for spare parts!

• Engine oil level is 2 mm above the Max limit and smells of diesel. (Possibly leaking past the piston rings. Worn engine?)

• Expansion tank was empty. Added 0.5 l of green coolant. No external leaks were detected during pressure testing of the cooling system.

• The dual clutch slips in locked gears, and sometimes a clunking noise can be heard from the clutch/gearbox when stopping at an intersection. There is oil between the engine and gearbox; the source of the leak cannot be seen without removing the gearbox. The clutch slip is probably caused by an oil leak.

In short, the engine needs to be replaced or removed and refurbished.
