Defects and other observations

Please note: when warm, 4th gear will not engage. The fault appeared when the engine was removed during the clutch plate replacement. 3rd gear engages by turning the lever. Works and drives when cold. A somewhat slow but persistent machine. The front windscreen wiper has stopped working and blows the fuse. This has not been investigated or dismantled. The tyres are three years old; one front tyre has a cut on the sidewall, visible in the picture. Generally a relatively dry machine. One hose is seeping oil and will be replaced if there is time (or inclination). I added a couple of litres of engine oil; it was last topped up last autumn. Driven for approximately 150 hours during winter/spring. Hydraulic oils were changed last summer and transmission oil last week. The axle and hub oils were changed the autumn before last. Painted and minor dents touched up; some have appeared at the rear.
